About this Blog

Welcome to the world of Birds ~ Armchair birding via upclose videos. Adding quality to our life one bird at a time.
Seniors enjoy the gift of healthy memory activity they recieve from watching the theatre of nature. Test yourself to see how many birds you can remember. All shut-ins love the challenge of birdwatching from their windows, TV and computers.
Learn to identify the birds and they will soon feel like new friends.
We can only live one moment at a time. The birds will help us enjoy it as it reduces the fear that comes with memory loss.
Our thanks to the many youtube video producers who are bringing smiles to all who watch the excellent work.

Australia Birds

Gday! My name is Danielle & I am a 'magpieaholic'. I live in a beautiful part of Australia called Ocean Grove, Victoria. In my backyard resides a army of wild magpies (about 20 or so, with newbies also joining the gang every now & then!)

Soar with the Eagles of the World

There are 60+ species of Eagles if you count the subspecies. Most of us can only name 2 or 3.
How many do you know and do you know their range?
We are on a quest to see as many different eagles as possible.

First, I would like to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Eagle. They are the well known soaring predators of the North American sky called the American Bald Eagle. They are well known for their hunting skills of fish and small mammals (including your small pets)
That is until they met Gizmo the cat in Unalaska, Alaska
